Dear Forum,
Pretty new to moode. It's pretty great. I only have a small problem with the album art.
My system is a Pi zero with a justboom digi.
Moode r53
NAS = Synology (NFS)
Music = All flac ripped with DBpoweramp from cd. Album art is embedded
Issue all album art is taken from the last album in the album per artist overview (xy Coldplay which is the last album)
When playing the correct album art is displayed.
Is this a bug or is there some mistake I made? Probably some stupid newby rtfm thingy.

Post the output from System info and I'll have a look
- Menu, Configure, System
- Menu System info
Alternatively post the output from the command below
Code:
sudo /var/www/command/sysinfo.sh

@ Chris
Welcome to the club. Think you will find moOde and this forum will improve your listening experience, at least it has been that for many. One thing to be aware over the past couple of years rarely have I found other members using a Synology NAS. Not saying you should run out and buy a different brand but it can be difficult to solve problems when most other folks are store music on so many different platforms. I would encourage you to hang in there and it will be sorted in the end.
Have had same problem as well as hundreds of files that fail to play due mpdignore error since upgrading from 4.4 to 5.0,5.1,5.2 and now 5.3. I have gone back to 4.4 and it works flawlessly.
Have posted my issue in the forum with some feedback indicating SMB might be a solution or add a one line text file called mpdignore to the root of music folder. So far have been unable to resolve on current version of moOde.
Best of luck
My setup
RPI3 B +
JustboomDigi
Minidsp 2x4
Synology DS415play
Library Settings shows "Artist list order" = "Artist"
Code:
L I B R A R Y S E T T I N G S
Artist list order = Artist
Ignore articles = a,an,the
Compilation rollup = No
Compilation excludes = greatest hits
UTF8 character filter = No
Cover search pri = Embedded cover
Hi-res covers = Auto
Pixel ratio = 1
- Menu, Configure, Library
- Click MODIFY library display options
- Set "Artist list ordering" to Album Artist
- SAVE
If the Album Artist tag in your collection is populated appropriately this should fix your album ordering issue.

Dear Tim,
Thanks for your feedback. I have tried this setting and rebooted several times and pressed delete, update and regen album cover thumbnail cache. It however did not change anything. All albums still have the XY art playing shows the correct one.

In Playback and Tag view, the embedded art from the first track in the Album directory is displayed. The thumbnail generator fetches the art from the last track in the album directory. A standard directory structure is assumed.

Feel free to zip up one of your albums that demonstrates the issue and email me a download link. I'll see if I can reproduce it.

Isn't the problem simply that you have all your tracks (e.g., files) in one directory on your NAS?
I easily repro'd what you experience by copying three albums' worth of tracks into a single directory on a USB memory stick and plugging it into moOde as the sole source. The thumbnail for all three albums in the Albums By Artist view is the coverart from the last track in the directory, just as Tim describes. Each track displays correctly in Playback.
"A standard directory structure is assumed."

Kent

If that's the case, everything is explained
in this thread...
