- HDMI port
- Local UI display
Revert to a stock /boot/config.txt unless you know with certainty that the manually added lines are needed.
A fresh moOde image boots in headless mode (no attached display) which is the most common configuration.

Thanks for clearing it up Tim.
I know I am new to this, but is it possibly worth setting it up so that a fresh image will use an attached display if one is there (maybe by using
hdmi_force_hotplug=1)? My idea is that someone new to moOde can plug the raspberry pi into a monitor keyboard and mouse, just like a regular computer, and manually configure the wifi networking. Just a 3rd way to get Wifi set up I guess.
Hi,
moOde automatically boots into AP mode if both of the following conditions are true.
- No Ethernet connection
- No WiFi SSID defined or SSID defined but no IP address received
You can then connect to the SSID Moode and then enter http: //moode.local or http: //172.24.1.1 in a Browser. It's prolly easier to use AP mode rather than connect display, keyboard/mouse. AP mode is described in the Setup guide.

I fully agree, it's easier, for me.
But for example, I am currently helping someone over the phone, to get his rpi/moode set up, and he struggles with wifi and how it works. I will have to walk him through it slowly. For him, it would be easier to plug it into a screen.
But he's probably in the minority of people who would try to set up Moode.
