There are some people who like to invert one channel like that to go through the source/amp section of their setup with the idea that it helps balance out the power draw or something which leads to less distortion, then they switch the polarity of the speaker wires for the inverted channel so that they’re both in sync again.

Just throwing it out there, some people swear by it so it might be an interesting option for people to play with.  Cool
