Hi Forum!
There is no sound after activating the "Rotary encoder" setting. Independent of the rotary encoder is connected or not.
Setup: RPI 3B+ - HiFiBerry Amp2 - KY-040 rotary encoder - Moode 6.5.2.

Works ok on my end regardless of whether the Pi has an encoder connected or not.

The rotary encoder driver is designed for a 3 pin encoder. Maybe there is an incompatibility between the driver and the 5 pin encoder that u are using?

Tim thanks for the fast answer. If I rotate the rotary encoder the volume changes, but there is no sound. Strange.

I made a new fresh installation and now it works like a charm.
