Is the attenuation amount when using MPD software volume controller as follows?
Volume 50 = -6 dB
Volume 25 = -12 dB
Volume 10 = -20 dB
Volume 1 = -40 dB

Thats a good question. I suppose you would need to examine the volume algorithm in the MPD source code and see if its possible to plot its volume curve. Its going to be a logarithmic curve.
