Pleased to report that this combo works fine as a mini music player with moOde 4.1. I selected "HiFiBerry DAC" as the I2S audio device on the grounds that according to HiFiBerry's configuration guide the MiniAmp uses the same driver. I'm not expecting (or wanting) super quality sound from this setup but it will be a nice little radio for everyday use away from the hi-fi
