Hi Tim!

I have same problem as it was in the 6.5.0 thread. I did the following instruction:
http://moodeaudio.org/forum/showthread.p...9#pid19119
The log runs, no error messages, and then stops sadenly .
My music collection contains 5762 folders (albums).
files:
./Rock: 5695
./Reggie: 254
./Pop: 1328
./Blues: 2700
./Classic: 284
./Electro: 2046
./Jazz-acidjazz: 2418
./Jazz-smoothjazz: 1754
./Jazz-fusion: 4449
./Jazz-vocal: 22209
./Jazz-instrumental: 43584

6.4.2 handles it perfectly, but 6.5.2 stops all of a sudden and the folders scanned so far disappear. I don't see an error message in the log.
I assume there is something wrong with the quantity because there is no similar problem with version 6.4.2.

Could be a bug in the version of MPD used in the 6.5 series.

6.4.2 uses MPD 0.21.16
6.5.y uses MPD 0.21.22

Have you tried the test version of MPD 0.22-git that's availble on Audio Config?

I switched to the 0.22-git version. It doesn't work that way either. The following happened. Now the scan didn't stop, it just restarted. I ran the tail with the grep error filter, but there is no error message in the log.
I let it run, but suddenly it restarted again. The folders are gone, and as you scan them again, they reappear. And so it goes round and round.

Free space should not be a problem:
SD: / dev / root 14G 2.8G 11G 21% /

Hi Tim!

I think I found the solution. I don’t know why the older version didn’t cause a problem, but it looks like the newer version doesn’t tolerate that.
I noticed that it always restarts again at the same line. I looked at that folder and the files, but saw no extras. However, the next folder is a file with a .wv extension.
I split this file into .flac files and then ran the update again. The update ran normally, everything was fine.

Thats interesting. When you get a moment zip up the wave pack (.wv) file and email or PM me a download link.

If I can repro I might be able to post the issue for MPD maintainer to look at.

Ok, I have sent the link via email.

I've just noticed this in 6.5.2 but it may have been there before. In the "Album" view of the Library on my phone, the alphabet down the right side gets truncated at Y in portrait and W in landscape. I've tried Chrome, Firefox and the built in "Samsung Internet Browser" and all have the same. Obvs, this is an android phone (Samsung A40).

I'm not able to repro. I copied the entire directory to my test collection on USB drive and no issues with MPD indexing or playback.

Have you saved the Browser as a "Home Screen" app or are you viewing moOde in-Browser?
