RE: My MoOde Sound Tweaks - mactolinux - 12-11-2018

I know they are supported, how do they play? Mine has jerks in sound. Not upsampled, original ones.

P.S. Sleep - cool idea

RE: My MoOde Sound Tweaks - mactolinux - 12-11-2018

Updated. I found the reason – it was too big buffer size in (max), here:
http://moode.local/mpd-config.php
Returned it to 4096 (default) – and now all is great, even with fifo setting.

How does it play? Like I said everything works perfectly, as it always had for years and years. Big Grin

Happy end Smile

Scratch all the sleep stuff. It appears Tim put all the necessary commands in the mpd.service file. All you need to do is uncomment and/or adjust parameters as needed.

Thanks Tim !!

Well, mpd.service was about the same in 4.3...

Edward,
Thank you thank you thank you for the part of the script that related to all real-time behaviours (chrt fifo and so on). They are very very important.
They helped A LOT to create smooth, well operating audio-recording procedure, which didn't happed before them (there were mistakes in data flow).
Therefore, for sure it has importance for playback...

RE: My MoOde Sound Tweaks - yaslam - 12-13-2018

Edward's Tweaks works well with moode 4.4 with MPD 0.20.20.
However, in DSD 128 and DSD 256, playback is interrupted every few seconds.

Also, I updated MPD to 0.21.3 by the following procedure.

With MPD 0.21.3, certain PCM files can not be played correctly.

Is there a way to identify the cause of these problems?
Or are there any possible causes?
