Groove Salad 256kbps - jerry - 12-19-2018
SomaFM's Groove Salad has a 256kbps stream now, as do some of the others. Could be added at some stage please?

Ah, we face again the age-old question---which is better? 128kbps AAC or 256kbps MP3? (Don't expect an answer from me!)
Either way don't forget to support SomaFM...and Tim too.

Tis true they are 256k MP3 format and its debatable how this format compares to 128K AAC. I was hoping they were 256K AAC or something like that.

Hi new member here, have been enjoying moode for 6 months. Built out a 3 unit system and about to do a travel router with moode install on a fan enabled pi for the car. I donated to the project and have been a decades long supporter of Rusty at Soma. Discovered Imogen Heap that way and in a it's a small world kind of way got to work on her domain / social.
Groove Salad is up there in my top 5 with Lush being #1, I hadn't realised either at the high bitrate.
128 AAC ... I try to be a good listener for Rusty.
I was thinking of doing custom playlist packs for radio if anyone is interested in shooting over suggestions.

My 56k modem did Soma in the early 2000's with buffering.
