Compatibility 3B+ - JST1963 - 04-16-2018

Hi moOde fans,

Question out of curiosity: Is the new Raspberry Pi 3B+ faster/better but most importantly backwards compatible with all the DAC's you can find on the market?
Would an upgrade from a 3B to a 3B+ make sense?

Yes, it is faster.  And, yes, I find the background blacker and the presentation more spacious.  Particularly, when using 5 GHz WiFi.  Yes, the GPIO standard is the same, so it would be or is backwards compatible.

The upgrade made sense for me, and I'm glad I did it.

After all, Tim is nice enough to provide MoOde and the upgrade is generally free, though I feel everyone should chip in...what other upgrade costs what the 3B+ does?  Cheap in my book!
