I fixed the non scrobbling for upnp and some other issues and submitted a pull request here https://github.com/hrkfdn/mpdas/pull/57

Just an FYI that MPDAS is not being maintained anymore and will not be included in upcoming moOde 7.

I would suggest using libre.fm or listenbrainz for "scrobbling", but I'm not sure if there's any solution for them.
