older version of moode audio
#1
Hi all,

Recently , my hard disk corrupted, and I keep may versions of Moode audio inside that hard disk.
I'm a serious audiophile , and I always compare every versions of Moode audio , and my reference is still Ver. 3.8.4, although Ver. 6** seems sound really good now.

Now my reference is gone,I have no reference and I need it for future comparison , and also I tuned all my DIY DAC based on ver 3.8.4 especially my recent build of raspberry pi NOS R-2R DAC hat which is using AD1865, and its not done yet , I'm re-designing my PCB for the latest version and I have no reference now.

may I know if anyone of you can provide me with a copy of V3.8.4  please ?
Please PM me if you can help . Thank you very much in advance !!!

Replied privately to a similar request. Publicly wanted to suggest this isn't a good idea because you don't know what might be hidden in in an image that doesn't come from a reputable source or known entity.

http://moodeaudio.org/
That has the previous versions...

Hi, Thanks for the link.

I did check the archive site before I post here for help. The link to source seems broken or files had been deleted.

A nice guy contacted me days ago, and he sent me a copy of 3.8.4 already .

Thank you !

Also, which settings sound best to you, bigbulb (and others)?

RT- or LL-Kernel?

FIFO- or RR-scheduler?

When I tried 3.8.4 with the normal kernel I was really amazed how it sounded. Last week, I changed to RT FIFO and I think the  sound got even better. Nice clear, neutral and detailed sound with excellent channel separation!

Hi Guy,

Could anyone share to me the 3.8.4 RT or FIFO version to me, as many of Audiophile comment this version with the best sound quality even compared to the current latest 6.4 version!  Thanks a lot!
