Can you use both Wifi and Touch Display?
#1
Hi,

My current rpi4 Moode set up, I use an ipad safari to access the Moode controls.
If I add the official touch display, can I use either touch display or wifi?

Sometimes my wifi down, I still want to be able to use the Moode locally via the touch display.
Not as convenient since it is tethered but better than no music at all with no wifi.

Just install the touch display and boot up? Any menu settings need to be changed?

Thanks

Yes u can use both the WebUI and the local UI at same time :-)

After connecting the Pi 7" Touch:

Menu, Configure, System
Local UI display ON

It will take a bit before the UI is shown on the touch screen.

Then turn mouse cursor off, adjust brightness, set Pixel aspect ration to "Square" etc.
Enjoy the Music!

... if the WiFi connection is down the music source can only be from an attached USB storage device (no RADIO stations, no Network-Assisted Storage)
