add album picture

is there a way to add the missing album picture?

There are several ways; it depends on how you prefer to maintain your music library and meta data. 

E.g. I (still) use iTunes when ripping CDs to Apple Lossless (ALAC). The application allows me to edit meta data, including album art, if the file type in question allows it (ALAC does). Usually, I import album art .jpg-files from http://www.discogs.com.

A good (widely compatible) habit is to save a copy .jpg-file in the folder of album, with a predetermined name, e.g. Folder.jpg or Cover.jpg. 

In moOde, under Configure/Library/Library Options you get to decide if embedded art or folder .jpg-file takes precedence.
