Can you post links to info about their flac stream?

Welll,  there is a bit more complexity to it,  it seems.  Bill got back to me,  and I've been reading some posts on his end.  It's not just a simple stream.

Upsides,  it's not supposed to be very complicated.  There would be metadata available, even pictures/album titles.  A separate guy has created a Volumio plug in,  so perhaps a lot of the work is done already:

Hopefully this is enough to give you guys an idea.  Seems that there would need to be some structure needed on the Moode side besides this stuff.  I believe there was a plugin that worked with some Squeezebox or Logitech player as well.  Does sound like it has the potential to have better features than most streams.

Bill also mentions an upcoming API that will be generally released in the coming months,  and sounds like he's willing to work with player suppliers in the mean time.

Tim poked me and I did some exploring of several code bases: 1) marco79cgn's standalone Radio Paradise FLAC Player (written in Javascript including howler.js webaudio code) and 2) the 3rd-party Radio Paradise FLAC plugin (written in Perl) for Logitech Media Server. I have both playing here. I've sent my analysis of the API back to Tim. 

It's more like a music service API than a simple stream API and won't simply plug into moOde's existing radio mechanism. Through it one can select among the songs in the current playlist (typically 1-6 songs in length), step to previous and next, etc. The moOde UI has to be thought out and code has to be written. I didn't think that investment of effort was prudent given that the API is currently private. If it's published and guaranteed to be supported then maybe someone will decide differently. 

I wasn't aware of marco79cgn's melding of his code into a Volumio plugin. I'll have to have a look.

Meanwhile, I'm able to play Radio Paradise FLAC through moOde using

• the Radio Paradise app on my iPad with audio output redirected to moOde's Airplay Renderer
  
• the Radio Paradise app on my Android tablet with audio output redirected to moOde's Bluetooth Renderer
  
• the Radio Paradise plugin in LMS with moOde's Squeezelite Renderer enabled and selected in LMS as the receiver
  
• (I haven't tried but a variation of these using the standalone Radio Paradise FLAC Player with audio output redirected should work too.)
  

Candidly, I can't claim to hear a difference between this and directly playing the Radio Paradise 320k AAC stream on moOde but my ears are old and so is my equipment.
