Idea: Pi HDMI Output other than webgui
#1
hello

would be nice to customize a HDMI Output which would be different then the WebGUI.

As example i have a 7“ LCD Display - joy-it and my Pi is conected to my Hi Fi so not to close to where i sit.

Would be nice just to output
Bigger CD Cover
Bigger Titel Name
keep the Countdonw wheel

remove the playlist, remove the loudness controlle

But the Web GUI should be as it is

have a nice day

I think that the minimal interface is great.

Just Coverart, Elapsed time, Artist - Track title.

Iwonder if it's possible to add also: Encoder, bitrate and frequency

Something like this (very quick and rough photoshop, sorry)

Could you do something about that @Tim Curtis

The key word is "minimal". If we start adding things it becomes cluttered.

You're absolutely right.

I simply asked if it would be possible to add just the line with the filetype/bitrate/frequency.

Or, alternatively, to know wich is the file to modify in order to get only that modification.

Thanks @Tim Curtis for your big effort!

Hi,

is it possible to switch off the startup sources in the screen when HDMI is used?

Thanks
