Thanks Remy I've a SSD1306 display ( this: https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B06XRBY...UTF8&psc=1)  and I followed your tutorial, and my display works fine!!! since I reload/reboot the system, may it be a rel.4.4 problem?

Hi. I am still on 4.3. I noticed that when i update to 4.4, my display works most of the time, but sometime it does not work. No time to investigate now.

Release Notes here Release 4.4 Notes  well within the reach of all the users. Could it be Line 34 'a prime suspect' in your investigation...?

<< line 34  - UPD: Bump to Linux kernel 4.14.84 >>

It may be that Moode v4.3 version was based on an earlier Linux kernel thus making it a possible cause for your display issue. Should this be the case (after you check the Release Notes and there are no other question marks) it means that the issue is external to Moode...

Just trying out moode 5.1 however can't get the patch to install for mpd, get the following:

patching file /var/www/command/worker.php
Hunk #1 FAILED at 374.
1 out of 1 hunk FAILED -- saving rejects to file /var/www/command/worker.php.rej
patching file /var/www/inc/playerlib.php
Hunk #1 succeeded at 1294 with fuzz 2 (offset 126 lines).

Any ideas?

Hi stanfordcg

Thanks for the report. The error means that there have been changes to these Moode system files since I made the patch file, and the patch file is no longer vailid. I will produce a new patch file that works with the latest Moode version (but I might not be able to look at this until next week).

Adrian.
