Solved: Error: failed to open ALSA default
#1
Hello

I just installed Moode on my pi 3B+. I have a set of speakers connected via the on board audio, the mini jack.
When I open the web client, I get the error "failed to open ALSA default" (screenshot attached).

I've tried this: https://www.diyaudio.com/forums/pc-based...pi-56.html
But when I set the ALSA volume, after I leave the configure menu and return, it s empty again.

I've also tried this: http://moodeaudio.org/forum/showthread.php?tid=157
But there is no /boot/config.txt

Is there anything I'm overlooking?

Thanks in advance!

A missing /boot/config.txt file suggests some sort of corruption on the image external to moOde software.
Enjoy the Music!

Thanks!

Re-flashed the image, everything works fine now.
