Probably not as it works on 'MONO' (it's targeted for mixing instruments and mikes).

@DRONE7 talks lots of sense here Idea

You might be confusing it with the Behringer UMC22. The model I linked (202HD) has two mic/line inputs which will work as stereo line inputs.

(far from me the intention to side-track the main subject of the thread)

I was commenting indeed on the Behringer UMC202... It will not work in conjection with a phono preamplifier, as the MM/MC cartridge's output is 'equalized' under the RIAA redbook and amplified to LINE level, not good for MIC input in ANY mixer (microphones deliver only a few miliVolts of output level) ; however it could be given some consideration using @Drone7' s choice of hardware/software but with no immediate benefit at the first look as the amplification and channel leveling is catered for at software level... IMHO

Hi Mike,

Input gain settings selected by jumpers (at hardware level presumably Wink  )

This ADC HAT looks more and more interesting indeed...

Well, the UMC202HD has switches for setting the inputs to accept line level. From the Quick Start guide:
LINE / INST (UMC202HD / UMC204HD / UMC404HD) selector designates line level or instrument level input source at combination XLR / ¼" connector(s)

The specifications just say that the max input level for Line is +20 dBu (7.7 Vrms) but that should be more than enough for consumer equipment which might typically output 2 Vrms if you're worried about clipping. So I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work with the line-level output of a phono preamp. You would just need a cable that is RCA -> TS/TRS/XLR.

I hope you believe me, I did cut my teeth on one of these Smile : http://www.ams-neve.info/vseries/

Thanks for pointing this feature out,  @rhizomusicosmos
