Idea: Enable cron daemon to schedule shutdown
#1
Hello,

one of my moOde devices is plugged onto a smart plug that I've programmed to shutdown at 1:30 am and wakes up at 6:30 am. I've enabled the cron systemd service, disabled by default in moOde, to shutdown my moOde device at 1:15 am every day.

Would it be possible to schedule shutdown via system config in a future version ? On my own setup, the cron command line looks like this :

15 1    * * *   /usr/sbin/shutdown -h -P now

Thanks,
Romain

I think you can already do it with Clock Radio.

Set the mode to "Sleep Timer"
Set a Stop time
Set Action after stop to Shutdown
Enjoy the Music!
