DSD conversion to PCM upsampling to 192K
#1
Hi,

I noticed that my 2.8 MHz DSD files - which are playing back fine on Moode 5.1 - are being upsampled to 192K instead of simply being converted to 176K. I was wondering why and if I could possibly change it so it would convert to 176K?

Thanks.

Hi,

My understanding is that MPD defaults to the max rate the receiver/DAC supports for DSD to PCM on-the-fly conversion. This blog post has additional information.
