Odd message in System Information, no audio after update
#1
I just did a double update (from 5.1, to 5.2 and then to 5.3) and I found a couple of odd lines in the System Information.

They seem to be out of place commands... sounding like results of a command not finding a file.

They show up between Core Services and Appearance Settings in the SI log. Was going to snip just the lines,  but...

I just checked the playback,  and it's broken.  Seems its not getting a card at the expected address.  It had been working fine earlier with the Allo Boss card I've been using on this one.  It's still selected in the Audio menus,  as well as showing up as configured for it in the SI log.

And, I get the following error code upon trying to play stations, sounds about right for the problem as a misconfigured card.
What do you think?   Let me know if you want some other logs or such...

Did you reboot at least once after the update process was complete?

I believe I did.  I may have not rebooted between 5.1 and 5.2,  but pretty sure I did.

This would be the first time I've updated a couple in a row like that.  Have done some single ver updates a few times.  More often I just flash a new full release.  Do you guys want me to try that?   I might still have a 5.1 to try to duplicate if you need to.

Edit:  Another data point,  reflashed with the 5.3 iso, and as expected it finds (after selection) my Allo Boss w no problem, and music is flowing...

If u still have a 5.1 build then try updating to 5.2, reboot and then update to 5.3.

Otherwise I'd just start with a fresh 5.3 image :-)

Oddly,  I have 5.0 and 5.2 in my downloaded Moode directory...  really wondering how I started out w 5.1 on that player..  Must have gone 5.0 - 5.1,  then to 5.2 and 5.3?

At least my straight to 5.3 from iso got the job done. I even dont think Im seeing the multi wifi issue.

Guess if this really is a problem, its only going to affect the multi updaters.

Glad to hear its working.

There was no 5.1 image, just a 5.0 image + 5.0 -> 5.1 update.
