I'm sure you all know this as I'm an 'oldster' .... but if you paste a website address into google-translate it will produce the address in whatever language you choose. Click on the new address and you will be taken to the translated site... Cool

Note that links and linked pages may have to be treated with the same process.

was new to me!! and I am a 'not-so-oldster' ;-) so thank you.

-->ByteFM

I must add:  highly recommended!
I listen since 1 week. Sometimes a lot moderation with interesting stories about the artists/tracks, sometimes less....but in german.

But the music. Now I hear interesting smooth jazz, there was punk, good new pop-stuff, hiphop, neo-something. It is very interesting when you want to get some new and wide spreaded input.

Highlight so far: once they played some super  rare vinyl where the noise of used material was so much louder than the music. But track was good  Tongue  ->> have a hear!

Hi guys,
not related to new finds but I've found that, while adding France Inter radio, some radios already in Moode v7.1 like France Culture are with this link/audio format:
http://direct.franceculture.fr/live/fran...-midfi.mp3
when there is a:
http://direct.franceculture.fr/live/fran...e-hifi.aac
According to the name hifi is better than midfi, isn't it?
So maybe the link in France Culture, France Musque and FIP should be updated?

Sure please post all the hifi links and I'll test them out. for the next update.

When you post them put a space after http:// so the URL's don't get turned into links by the Forum software. Thx.
Enjoy the Music!

There's a few listed on HiResAudio which might be worth including:

https://www.hiresaudio.online/cd-quality...net-radio/

So far I've listened to knixx.fm and The Cheese (from my old hometown, Wellington).

https://www.hiresaudio.online/knixx-fm/

The FLAC link given there didn't work for me, but the 256K mp3 does:

http:// s1.knixx.fm/dein_webradio_256.mp3

https://www.hiresaudio.online/the-cheese/

Listening now to the FLAC stream

http:// thecheese.ddns.net:8004/stream

Cheers,

Phil

Not new stations but new URLs for existing stations.

If you've tried "Ancient FM - Mediaeval and Renaissance Music" lately, you know the URL works but leads to a repeating service message about how they've changed their settings.

Try this URL instead

Code:
Ancient FM - Mediaeval and Renaissance Music | https://mediaserv73.live-streams.nl:18058/stream

Also, moOde 7.1.0 was released with the following stations deleted:

Code:
- DEL: JB Radio2 (320K)
- DEL: RadioActive FM 88.6
- DEL: smooth Chill
- DEL: UCFM 87.8 - Canberra's Alternative

Can't do anything about JB Radio2 (it's gone) and smooth Chill (it's implementing some sort of login process) but here's new URLs for the other two

Code:
RadioActive FM 88.6 | https://streamingv2.shoutcast.com/radio-active-fm-88-6
or
RadioActive FM 88.6 | http://radio123-gecko.radioca.st/radioactivefm

UCFM 87.8 | http://ucfm.out.airtime.pro:8000/ucfm_a

Why two for the Wellington NZ station? Well, the first worked for me yesterday but not today while the second turned up in my search today and not yesterday. They're on various servers so if at first you don't succeed, try, try again.

ETA - and now two days later the first URL for RadioActive FM is working for me again.

You'll have to get the icons of the deleted stations somewhere, moOde 7.0.1 for example. Sorry, I submitted the updated URLs to Tim too late for inclusion in moOde 7.1.0.

ETA - it turns out these stations have not been deleted in 7.1.0. Their database entries have been changed to station="OFFLINE" which blinds moOde to them but their icon and .pls files are still present. I'll followup with a post late Monday on how to get them going again.

Regards,
Kent
