For CD ripping I use an external Cd drive and a Thin-client running Daphile.
Daphile uses both Gracenote and Accurate Rip.... Album art is found in most cases and I rip to an attached USB drive then transfer to MoOde Player using sftp.
Occasionally album art is not found... the rip proceeds but no cover.jpg... and I have to go looking. You know how tedious that is..
So, recently I have been trialing SACAD for those manual look-ups and I am mightily impressed !
https://github.com/desbma/sacad
It is cross platform..with Windows Binaries..(though I have no Windows so have not tried those and before anyone comments..Yes! my house is dark !)

I wonder if ..... this could be used to fetch art, when it is missing, and display in MoOde ??
Something like....file plays but no cover image found....Artist and Title Tags present...send Artist and Title to sacad..lookup on the fly...(it's quick) and insert for currently playing file...??
Anyone want to try that ?
and ..."Install jpegoptim and optipng if you want to crunch the images." In Ubuntu is a breeze............ snip ..................
