The fact that the kernel driver is present starting with 4.19.108 doesn't help users because unless it and its ALSA options are integrated into moOde users will have to resort to using SSH to edit Linux boot files and run ALSA commands.

Nah... their approach is not 'naive' at all, it's quite mischievous as it is targetting naive buyers with this 'Swiss-army penknife' solution for audio on RPi, the 40W 5V/2.5A HAT AMP running all the imaginable music players... and they are not the only ones to have done this (nor they will be...).
