The resolution for this is pretty straight forward.

During moOde startup:

Code:
if auto play = on
if auto shuffle was previously active
        start auto shuffle
    else
        auto play last played item

We're not mind readers. What are you asking?

@frobalo

I'm trying to understand your issue.

Are you saying that you
  1. had mpd_oled installed in a moOde 6.5 player and the combination was running smoothly, but then
  2. you did the in-system software update (in System config) to 6.5.1 and now the system is unresponsive?

Kent

So after the update I checked my radio images.
They are not showing up.

What I did fin in /var/www/images/radio-logos was a few __tmp files.

I removed those.
I then edited 1 radio and added the logo via the GUI.

Shows up in the dir as a __tmp and does not show up in the GUI after I try the refresh button, or updating library.

I'd be happy to dig into msql if you like.

1 - mpd_oled installed in 6.4.2 or 6.5, no issues of any kind !

2 - Fresh installation of 6.5.1
     System update/upgrade
     mpd_oled installation
Browsing hangs and becomes unresponsive but player works without any issue

So we're back to Tim's point.

Quote:2 - Fresh installation of 6.5.1

Did you at this point confirm that moOde 6.5.1 was working correctly? That's basically Tim's guarantee, that what he distributes in his moOde image will install and all its functions will work. Where it turns out not to, he and his merry band of helpers work hard to make it so.

Quote:     System update/upgrade

This is neither required not recommended in a moOde installation. In principle it does no harm, and frequently it does not, but we have no control over incompatibility issues introduced by this process.

Did you again at this point confirm that moOde 6.5.1 was working correctly?

Quote:     mpd_oled installation

so if your moOde 6.5.1 was working up until this step, then the issue lies with mpd_oled, which is not part of the moOde image but a very nice bit of kit developed by @adrii for use in a number of different music players that are based on MPD. Conceivably either it or its moOde-specific instructions is not yet compatible with moOde 6.5.1. You should post your issue on the thread devoted to this component.

Kent

lol, moOde has no guarantees at all, none!, but our dysfunctional crew of hackers try to make some decent software to play music and help where we can :-)

@frobalo for sure as Kent suggested just run your issue by @adrii
