Problem: Moode Player 6.5.2 Screen blank
#1
Hi.

I am running Moode Player 6.5.2 on a RPI 3B attached to a Pimoroni Hyper Pixel 4'' touchscreen.

The issue is that when I choose it to come to blank after a while (System Config -> Local Display -> Screen Blank), when it wakes up, everything becomes very greyish for a minute or so, when colors become finally normal and the black a real black.

How this "Screen Blank" functionality actually works? I think it may turn it off completely and it needs some time to activate itself when it is commanded to wake up.

If I choose not to become blank, the screen remains ok, but it gets a little burned with such a steady GUI.

Is there any other way to turn the screen blank, maybe less agressive?

Thanks!

Have a look at the xinitrc script

Code:
pi@rp3:~ $ cat ./.xinitrc
#!/bin/bash
