Higher Resolution Touch Displays
#1
Hi Tim,

Sorry if this has been asked before.

Not sure if I should have post in Feature Request.

I found a nice 10” touch display that works with Moode,
plug and play.

The display aspect ratio looks decent however the fonts is really
dull and fuzzy. The contrast and brightness regardless of changing the levels,
the display looks hazy.

My question, is Moode set up to only output 800x400? So the image looks
dull on the higher resolution displays?

Is it possible to have different output resolutions, brightness, contrast settings
or this is wishful thinking?

The touch display is 2560x1600 resolution. It would be super awesome to have
a nice sharp clean looking image.

Thanks

Does the manufacturer provide a configuration guide for Raspbian Linux?

You should provide more information about the display for example:

- manufacturer and model
- link to product web site
- method of connecting it to the Raspberry Pi

How are you changing contrast and brightness levels?

Hi Tim,

The version I used was 1920 x 1080.
I’m returning it due to usb touch cable sticking out. Photo attached of this display.

These displays have on screen menu to adjust brightness/contrast/sharpness via push button controls but made no difference.

The version I just ordered is the 2K version.
I have emailed the customer support requesting rpi configuration guide.

Links attached. It is pretty cool at this size and touch response is good. No more squinting.

Thank you :-)

Connection via USB for Touch
HDMI to micro HDMI on rpi4

I don’t know if iphone does sharpening but the display is more blurry n dull
than the photo taken
