You should be able to leave SoX off.

Tim is correct (as usual  Wink )
DSD64 works without setting a sampling frequency to SoX, but only if:
- the Graphic equalizer is set to "Flat" (I was playing before with the settings and it still had a none-flat setting active). Once set to flat, DSD64 plays
- DoP is set to "yes"
But there is noise in the song, as if a very scratched vinyl is playing.

When the SoX sampling frequency is set to 176.4, the three versions play correctly, even the DSD256 (this is not even mentioned in the Allo manual)

Interesting. I'll run some tests later today with DSD64, DoP and the EQ's to see if I can repro the noise.

Are u running MPD 0.21.3 or 0.20.20 ??
