Instruction Guide Using FLIRC and other USB input devices for remote control
#31
@michdal

It's working with my moOde 7.0.1 player, Flirc 2.0 (firmware v4.6.3), and an old Roku controller I keep lying around for just this purpose.

OTOH, like you I get nothing when I try with a recent-vintage LG TV controller, for which I would have expected at least Vol+ and Vol- to show up.

Sorry to say, it's been long enough since I got my Flirc device I don't remember if I had to do something special first to pair the Roku controller with it. Maybe another user can chime in while I go looking for my notes.

Regards,
Kent

It's works now. The problem was trying to configure FLIRC USB via the moode remote terminal. It seems that it is not possible to address the device this way. With local access to the Pi everything went fine.

The unused tuner keys of my stereo remote now also control moode. Cool

Thanks for your assistance!

Hello,
 It's working great with my old Flirc and Harmony Hub.
I set up Flirc on Harmony as Flirc/Kodi.
And follow all Kent's steps on post 1.
Thanks
