Solved: SMB mount to Windows doesn't work with mOode 6.7.1
#1
Hi,
I have problems to connect one of my two moOde players to a Windows 10 Version 2004 share after updating to moOde 6.7.1 from moOde 6.6.

Error message is:

20201118 115945 sourceMount(): Mount error: (mount error(2): No such file or directory
Refer to the mount.cifs(8) manual page (e.g. man mount.cifs))

The mount flags are:
vers=2.0,ro,dir_mode=0777,file_mode=0777

This worked fine before I updated from moOde 6.6. I have another moOde player running with moOde 6.3. and this also works fine with the same settings.

I read that someone here in this forum used vers=3.0 for connecting to Windows 10 but that didn't work with me.

What can I do? I don't really want to reinstall moOde 6.6 on this Raspberry Pi.

Thanks for your support and best regards
Ludger

Problem solved! Sorry for the confusion ... it has nothing to do with the moOde version. It is an issue with DNS ... When I use the ip address it works fine!

Thanks
