Problem: Change AP IP address
#1
Having 2 Moodes in our home, both with no internet and network access, use the same IP for the AP. This leads continously to problems. Is there a possibility to change the AP IP address? Having searched but was not successfull.

Thanks in advance.

The networks are totally separate so simply giving the two APs different SSIDs, you can know which of the two private local networks you are connecting with and hence which moOde player you will be communicating with at 172.24.1.1.

Your question has me musing about a different use case though. If multiple moOde players are within WiFi range of each other, one could be the WiFi AP establishing the private local network 172.24.1.x and the others could be WiFi client stations on that network. This would require the ability to assign different host IPs to the client stations rather than having all stations assigned 172.24.1.1. Hmmm. Not a use case for me, but hmmm.

Kent
