Hi,

in the meanwhile I confiured my rpi4 to work with the ES9028q2m and im able to play via aplay the LRMonoPhase4.flac. But, as soon as I m trying to play the same file in the most recent verion of moodeaudio (7.0.1), my loudpseakers keep silent. Any idea, where I can look into it?

no, it still the same with the stock image, I simply tried to update and see whether its fixed, wrote the stock image again and got the same output:

BTW: for the hifiberry DACs, an apt update && apt -y upgrade works quite well for 7.0.1, just in case it helps you?

I don't see anything suspicious in the log. All the audio and device related log entries indicate the DAC was recognized by Linux kernel and is configured correctly.

I have one of these units somewhere. If I get the chance later today I'll boot it up and see if I can repro your issue.
