Recommendatio on usb adapter
#1
Hiya

I’m having problems with usb reliability that I think may be due to signal problems. I use an akasa gem case which is very good, but the metal surround is likely hampering the rf signal.can anyone recommend a usb adapter with decent in room range, preferably bt5 that works with moode. Thinking out loud I’d also need to ensure moode used the adapter. Any comments appreciated.

Use a USB WiFi adapter, and locate the antenna outside of the case. Choose one compatible with RaspiOS (link). RT5370 is an old chipset (802.11n 150Mbps) , very cheap and have the advantage that they are plug and play with Linux (Moode) and Windows. They come with antennas. I am sure there are other alternatives.
