Problem: WD MyCloud not scanning
#1
I own WD MyCloud 3TB and unfortunately the new Moode can not scan the entire collection of music. The pointer works, but the files will not show up. Moode sees only a fraction of the directories. Please help.
In version 4.2 everything worked perfectly.
Thanks.

Thank you. I tried everything but without success. Previous versions with the same settings were OK. I do not know why it does not work now.

Examine the MPD log to see if there are any errors for the directories that are not being included in the database.

cat /var/log/mpd/log

I have the same problem with my Synolgy Nas - it starts syncronizing, and only some of my songs come up. It never stops with the sync proces, and when I restart I have to start over to sync again. And if I use the Lumin app, I can acces all my music and play it!?

Cheers

MPD log is printed via the command below. Reference post #4.

cat /var/log/mpd/log

Hi Tim

I tried a different sd card, and then it just works :-)

Thank you Tim for advice, unfortunately did not help. MPD log is OK, scanning stops after approx. 7 directories, no longer adds anything even when the pointer is still running. After restart Moode the NAS is invisible again.
Unfortunately SD card exchange did not help.
My previous settings worked in version 4.2, works in Rune, Volumio, pCP ...
I do not know where the error may be ...
Michael.
