Piano 2.1 no chip options in MoOde 4.4
#1
Hi Tim,  I have received my Piano 2.1 today and installed on a Pi3B with a fresh fully updated moOde 4.4.

I have installed the Piano firmware and I have the 2.1 set as audio device.
I have audio output but have no chip options in the configuration page ???
When I click on edit settings I get a notification 'Transferring data from Moode local' the screen flashes and goes right back to where I started.
I've rebooted several times and cleared caches...

How in the world do I get the Dual mono/stereo/subwoofer options ???? as shown here..

Hi Bob,

I've never seen the message 'Transferring data from Moode local'. Does it only occur when trying to open the Chip/device settings screen?

yes, it's the firefox notification... bottom left corner of the screen overlaying MoOde screen... otherwise nothing would show...it would just flash the screen and bounce back...

EDIT....ha that rang a bell.....tried chromium and the settings appear... so it's something in Firefox....I will investigate.
Thanks.

Quick test with my old Piano 2.1 and no issues with the config screen and setting it to dual-mono

Ok, it's a Firefox/moode thing... restarted firefox in safe mode with all add-ons disabled and still have the problem.
Chromium displays correctly so I have a workaround but it would be good to have it working in firefox...

Can you repro ??

Swizzle ??
