Is it possible to bind librespot to "PCM" Volume of USB-Dac? It's looks like only builtin software Volume Control is used now.

AFAIK librespot only supports Software volume.

Yep. After reading some docs, i know it too. Smile
But i was able to do it with spotifyd. It based on librespot and binds to Alsa Mixer. Maybe librespot alternative for next release? Because this "Initial Volume" thing isn't very usable.

Let's see...

50 open issues on spotifyd repo; 56 open issues on librespot. Clearly spotifyd is the winner.  Tongue

On the other hand, there's been 19 contributors to the spotifyd repo; 47 to librespot. Is there safety in numbers?  Undecided

Kidding aside, it appears spotifyd also suffers from the disconnection/re-connection problem that we've seen with librespot, but if it otherwise does a better job, then it would seem worth the effort.
