moOde is heaven. I've been using it for a couple years now and just reflashed to the latest version today.
A wifi only Pi with a HiFiBerry DAC+ feeding a Yamaha receiver from 1985 (Model R-9 with Class A operation if the room needs heating)
I have a small collection of local files on a NAS. I primarily stream 'radio' stations.
The configuration automation where it comes up as an AP is genius (my Pi is Wifi only so it was very handy to get it configured to my network).
For many years I loved my original TurtleBeach AudioTron ... towards the end it was just too painful to keep it useful. TurtleBeach couldn't be bothered to update a simple DNS record.
moOde is a fully equipped 747 of music compared to the Cessna AudioTron.
I will make a donation to the this project. (I'm also a lifetime member of Plex).
