Hi Rikardo,
i have the same mini kit, is there a way to change the output level?
there is a big difference between my cd player 2,25 volt output mini kit 1.5 v.
If i see on alsamixer there is nothing possible to change i disabled the software volume.
Thanks

I don't think there is any other option on software base apart from 'ALSA volume' under moOde settings
Another option would be to use
inline attenuators on your CD player
Hi Rikardo,
ok i will try that the attenuators sorry that make them sound not good.
I have also the Sabre 9023 also the same problem, but i cannot change the setting with alsa
thanks man
Don't forget to set MPD Hardware volume setting, because it remains on software after driver installation.
About the output voltage @0dB, the only way to increase it is to change resistors to increase OPA gain, that we do not recommend.

You have to replace R8 R9 R12 R13 from 1.24 to 1.5K ohm to get 2V RMS output
Hi Audiophonics,
can you please add a picture where the resistors are located on the board.
what was the original output?
Thx,
Jempie
Near I/V OPAs
Standard gain is 2V p/p, 1.5V RMS
Hi,
Thx for the guide, it works very well.
Just one little problem, in /etc/lirc/lircrc:
Code:
config = /usr/bin/mpc previous
should be:
Code:
config = /usr/bin/mpc prev
It doesn't work otherwise.
