I connected my 2TB NTFS SSD to the Pi 3B+, it can detect the SSD drive and shown on lsusb. The SSD LED flash when I press Update MPD but the UI still only show "Stereo Test" after the scanning.
Do you have any SACD iso file (*.iso) in your disk? Even though Moode supports SACD iso file, but in my experiment, MPD db update will stop once hit ISO file why scanning.
So I converted all iso files to flac and removed all iso. Now music database is OK after each scanning. (nothing loss)
