Indeed my custom radio stations were restored, I just assumed they weren't when I didn't see my playlist restored either. But they're in the library and I can re-add them to my playlist as needed.
I didn't know moode showed up on Samba- I guess I never looked. I'll have to remember to backup my playlists separately for now, although I assumed the active playlist would be part of a backup. Perhaps backup/restore could add a switch to optionally include playlists, provided the restore code can deal with backups that may or may not contain them.

For sure we should include playlists in backup/restore.
I'll add to the TODO list for 8 series.
