RE: 3B+ & 7" Touch screen, with Moode 9.1.4. - 2800GT - 11-04-2024 I have only just got around to updating to 6.1.4 and just noticed the same behaviour (Pi 3B and unofficial DSI 7" touchscreen). anytime I switch into library view the page freezes for around 30-40 seconds, sometimes with the "Page unresponsive" dialogue box I got the impression it was re-loading all the album art for some reason but I may be wrong on that. RE: 3B+ & 7" Touch screen, with Moode 9.1.4. - Tim Curtis - 11-04-2024 Try replacing --disable-gpu with --use-angle=gles in the file /home/USERID/.xinitrc Then restart localui from Peripheral Config RE: 3B+ & 7" Touch screen, with Moode 9.1.4. - 2800GT - 11-05-2024 I'd already made the change from disable-gpu to use-angle=gles before I noticed the issue with library view loading so I thought this was the cause and switched back to disable-gpu but it made no difference whether enabled or disabled. Then I checked the support forum to see if anyone else had reported it and found this thread. RE: 3B+ & 7" Touch screen, with Moode 9.1.4. - taku82162 - 11-06-2024 First, I would like to thank the developers. I have the same behavior with 9.1.4. I was comfortably using 9.1.3 on a Pi 4B with an Intehill T10PA touchscreen connected via HDMI. After a fresh install of 9.1.4 and a library update, Tag View would freeze for 30 - 40 seconds every time, sometimes displaying “Page unresponsive”. In-place update from 9.1.3. to 9.1.4. worked the same. 9.1.4 was fine for remote access from Chrome on Windows, so I downgraded the chromium (130.) included in 9.1.4 to 126 following the instructions and it worked fine. (I wanted to use the version of chromium included in 9.1.3, but could not figure out how.) https://moodeaudio.org/forum/showthread.php?tid=6973&pid=58300#pid58300 Eventually, I reinstalled 9.1.3 again. I hope this information is helpful. |
