Tim Curtis - 04-17-2018 This NFS mount error under the SMB mount suggests some sort of configuration issue. 20180417 142803 wrk_sourcemount(): Mount error: (mount.nfs: mount point /mnt/NAS/WDMYCLOUD does not exist) To troubleshoot 1) remove all the NAS sources 2) create a single SMB NAS config and post any errors. Use 'guest' as userid and a blank password. Like Tim says, try starting from a clean slate. RE: Problem adding WD My Cloud NAS on the network - slavoo - 04-17-2018 I tried all the variants but failed Code: 20180417 175346 worker: Job sourcecfg RE: Problem adding WD My Cloud NAS on the network - Tim Curtis - 04-17-2018 Very odd. Almost seems like a regression back to one of the moOde 4 betas where there was a bug that prevented the mount directory from being created (or it deleted /mnt/NAS directory, I can't recall), or there is some breakage in your build. I just created a NAS config using SMB (Samba) and WDMYCLOUD as the Name and it worked perfectly. No issues creating the subdirectory WDMYCLOUD under /mnt/NAS. Code: pi@rp5:~ $ ls -l /mnt/NAS You may want to verify that /mnt/NAS exists and is symlinked back to NAS in /var/lib/mpd/music Code: pi@rp5:~ $ ls -l /mnt -Tim RE: Problem adding WD My Cloud NAS on the network - slavoo - 04-17-2018 How do I do it directly in config via Putty ? It would be best to add NAS WdMyCloud through the command. RE: Problem adding WD My Cloud NAS on the network - Martin - 04-17-2018 Hi, I have been experiencing similar problems trying to connect my WD My Cloud as a NAS. I have been gettimg the same Mount Error message asking me to click to view moode.log. My moode.log entries tell me the problem is; mount error: could not resolve address for MYCLOUD-AP41K0: Unknown error I am using Moode 4.1 which seems to be working in all other respects. My DAC is an IQaudIO Pi-DAC+ Any suggestions welcome. Thanks Martin RE: Problem adding WD My Cloud NAS on the network - Tim Curtis - 04-17-2018 Hi, That error suggests a DNS resolve issue. On the NAS config screen use 'EDIT server manually' and either replace the host name MYCLOUD-AP41K0 with its ip address or try adding .local MYCLOUD-AP41K0.local -Tim RE: Problem adding WD My Cloud NAS on the network - Martin - 04-18-2018 Hi Tim Thanks for your speedy response. Unfortunately, neither of yoursuggestions seems to work. When I add .local I get the same mount error saying 'could not resolve address for MYCLOUD-AP41K0: Unknown error'. When I try using the IP address I get a message saying 'Share cannot be blank'. Martin RE: Problem adding WD My Cloud NAS on the network - slavoo - 04-18-2018 That's exactly what I did and I did. I suspected my hardware or my home network but none was confirmed. I tested Volumio player and there it was no problem without configuration modifications. You may try a clean installation again, but I doubt it. Slavo |
