I can't tell what went wrong with your install but from the error message you posted Code: checking for fftw_execute in -lfftw3... no it would seem that the fftw3-dev package did not get installed; I don't know why. I just tried the same instructions on a new moOde player and succeeded without any errors. Here's the first part of the output I see for the first step Code: pi@moode:~ $ sudo apt install autoconf make libtool libfftw3-dev libmpdclient-dev libi2c-dev i2c-tools lm-sensors As you can see, the package libfftw3-dev was included along with libfftw3-bin. This was confirmed in the configure step: Code: pi@moode:~/cava $ ./configure --disable-input-portaudio --disable-input-sndio --disable-output-ncurses --disable-input-pulse --program-prefix=mpd_oled_ The make step proceeded with many lines of output I won't repeat here. Kent, thanks for reviewing the start of the mpd_oled installation on a fresh Moode install. Adrian.
