Interface gone - Bento - 02-28-2019

I’ve installed Pi-Hole on the raspberry Pi which Moode is installed. Both Pi-Hole and Moode work flawlessly, however I can no longer access the Moode interface. It’s like the Pi-Hole interface took over. Is there a way to restore/still access the Moode interface in this setup?

What happens when you turn off pi-hole processes?

I'm not sure I understand. If I disable it, it means it stops filtering. Still, I cannot access the Moode Interface. Or I can, but just see this https://imgur.com/xCWjWAJ. That's the same thing I see with Pi Hole disabled or not.

An alternative I have it so shut down Pi-Hole, but that means shutting down the Pi.

Yes, thanks. Unfortunately to no solution. Is there a way to update Moode via ssh? Or to access the web interface via terminal (Mac user)?

As I understand the posts on the thread I referenced, it is possible to run pi-hole and moOde on the same RPi if you insist. You have to change the port the pi-hole webserver is using from 80 (which moOde's webserver uses) to something else, like 8080. See @HemiRick's answer http://moodeaudio.org/forum/showthread.php?tid=823&pid=6805#pid6805 in that thread.

I think that's all you need to do. However, if moOde isn't working for some other reason than pi-hole has usurped its webserver port, then you'll have to seek help elsewhere.

My personal solution would be to reinstall moOde and not install pi-hole over it. I don't understand the argument that a second RPi + PS is a waste of resource. I would run dietpi on a second RPi and use it to install pi-hole and whatever else I wanted from that distro...maybe a print server for my laser printer, maybe octoprint for my 3D printer, yada yada yada. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

Kent

Thanks for the support. I've managed to change the Pi-hole port and now can access both interfaces.
