Actually, I'm working on finishing and verifying the code for the in-place update. It might be a while but I'll post an announcement when it's released.
Thats good feedback regarding the radio utils. I'll see about integrating an import/export feature in a post 6.3.0 update.

Well, could not wait, so I reimaged and ported my configuration.
I noticed that sometimes building the library with the 64 bit kernel hangs. I am back to the 32-bit kernel and mpd 0.21. it seems to work fine, smooth, fast, and solid in that configuration.

Thanks for the heads up on the 64-bit kernel.
Eventually it will become the standard but in the meantime getting feedback and issues is very important :-)
