moOde 6.4.0 bug reports - Tim Curtis - 11-28-2019
Hi,
I'd like to put together one more release before the end of the year that addresses any bugs that are discovered in moOde 6.4.0.
If you find a bug, be sure to list the Pi model, other relevant hardware information and settings, and most importantly the steps that can be used to reproduce it.

Here is the first bug :-0
On System Config, 64-bit kernel choice does not show up in the drop down if the Pi is the Allo USBridge SIG. Its due to an error in the friendly name for the SIG.
Here is a temporary fix.

OK,
To make it more precise;
If I have items in the playlist and restart MoOde, the player continues to play the last item. (which is as expected and as before)
If the playlist is run empty, the player stops playing.
If the playlist is empty and I press the shuffle sign (crossed arrows), this sign lights green and the "consume" sign gets checked. But nothing else happens.
In my previous version 4.4 and also 6.3, in the last 2 cases, the system grabbed 2 tracks (which took some time) and started playing.

What happens also:
The shuffle sign is green and consume is checked.
MoOde is playing the last item of a playlist.
If I push the FF button in such a case, the track starts playing again from start.

Hello Tim,
I tried MoOde 6.3.0.
If MPD is set to version 0.20.23, autoplay works as it did on 4.4. (keeps the playlist filled with 2 items)
If MPD is set to version 0.21.15, the sytem is not grabbing any tracks.

I'm not able to repro.
Audio Config
- Autoplay = on
- Auto-shuffle = on
Playback screen
- Random play = off
1. manually add 2 tracks to end of Default playlist
2. play first track for a bit, then stop it
3. reboot
4. first track starts playing (autoplay working)
5. when it ends, second track (the last track in the playlist) starts playing
6. after it ends click Random play
7. two random tracks are queued and the first one starts playing (auto-shuffle working)
8. click Next
9. first track of previous two tracks is removed, second track starts playing and a new track is added below it
This is how it should work :-)
