Moode 6.4.2 and Airplay on USB Dac - Aldebaran66 - 04-09-2020
Hello,
I have installed Moode 6.4.2 in replacement of Moode 5.3 on a raspberry 3B+ connected on USB on an Chord Hugo2 DAC.
Impossible to have it working on Airplay. It fails completly.
I have reflashed a new SD card with the same version (6.4.2), same configuration but the same problem.
I flash it back to Moode 5.3 and all was working properly in this version.
I think there is a bug into the 6.4.2.
Can you confirm and let me know?

When you say "Impossible to have it working on Airplay. It fails completly." what evidence can you provide that shows the failure?
For example:
1. Post any on-screen error messages that you see.
2. Reboot then post the MOODE Startup log

By failing, it means that there is no sound produced on Airplay. No problem on UPNP.
I did the exact same configuration on version 5.3 and I'm not getting any problem. It works like a charm on this version 5.3 with all protocols (Airplay, UPNP).
There is no visible failure on the screen... just no sound. I did it twice (Flash SD card from a fresh downloaded version 6.4.2) just to confirm I'm getting the same issue.
I will try to get the logs you've mentioned....

One additional stuff: as soon I try in Airplay, no more renderer are working anymore (UPNP), when I start to play, it switch automatically in pause. I have to reboot completly the Raspberry to be able to use it in UPNP.
my UPNP application is mConnect, using Qobuz.
