My Library disappears - SoundMan57 - 09-23-2020 I am running Moode 6.7.1 on a Allo USBridge Signature using a 400gb memory card to boot from. Currently, my music library is stored on a Windows 10 PC and accessed through my wired network. I am able to successfully mount the share through Moode. When I click on “Update library” Moode scans my Windows 10 share and proceeds to add my music collection. If I refresh the web page while the update is occurring, I can see the share and if I click on the share, I can see the albums being added to my Moode Library. The issue is that when Moode stops updating (Spinner disappears) the share and the albums no longer display. The only item that shows up under the Album tab is the Stereo test track and if I look in the Folder tab the only thing listed is SDCard, Default Playlist, and Favorites tabs. The Share name has disappeared. Based on what I think I am seeing in Moode, (1st time user) it looks like the database has the data, its just not showing me the data. View status shows there are 6082 Albums processed. I started with a 64gb memory card and thinking it might be related to a size issue, I switched to the 640gb memory card - Both fail the same way. I had more information to include in this post but the system made me reduce the size down. I'll see if I can add after I post this. Thank you. RE: My Library disappears - SoundMan57 - 09-23-2020 When I run cat /var/log/mpd/log, nothing is displayed. It seems to be empty pi@moode:/var/log $ mpc stats Artists: 1 Albums: 1 Songs: 1 Play Time: 0 days, 0:00:00 Uptime: 0 days, 11:11:23 DB Updated: Sun Jul 19 11:45:58 2020 DB Play Time: 0 days, 0:00:38 pi@moode:/var/log $ pi@moode:/var/log $ mpc list album Stereo Test pi@moode:/var/log $ RE: My Library disappears - TookaFace - 09-23-2020 Hey, what about moode's log ? Code: sudo cat /var/log/moode.log You can change mpd's log to verbose in mpd's options, maybe it will help for catching the problem. You also can try to switch mpd version in audio options, then run another scan. RE: My Library disappears - Tim Curtis - 09-23-2020 The following log entry indicates MPD has crashed. 20200922 221151 watchdog: MPD restarted (check syslog for errors) Try switching back to the 32-bit kernel and only use 0.21.24 MPD. RE: My Library disappears - SoundMan57 - 09-23-2020 I will give that a try - Thank you RE: My Library disappears - SoundMan57 - 09-24-2020 That was the fix! Thank you! |
