I would love a MPD client that is not clunky , simple and elegant . Something like Retropod on Googleplay. image attached

IMO the best MPD client on Android right now is MAFA.

Thanks. I downloaded - it is full of features.
I have been having problems with some "embedded" mp3 cover art not showing up in MPD players. That is why i wanted an old ipod interface, so I did not have to deal with it. Also the "wheel" control in retropod is quite intuitive on a phone.

Posting links to commercial MPD based players is prolly best done in other Forums like the DIYaudio Vendor forum or something like that.
